![]() “It has been over a year since this stretch has been crying for repairs. The Sector 55 stretch has big potholes and one has to drive slowly to avoid accidents. In a random check, it was seen that the road separating Sector 55 and 56, which connects Chandigarh and Mohali, is in a shambles. Though the local Municipal Corporation had claimed that it would identify and first recarpet the worst-affected roads, some badly broken roads have been left out by it. The full-fledged work will now start after the monsoon around September as the rainy season is not conducive to carrying out recarpeting work. The road was going to be tough ahead, but Peter made it just that less bumpy. With the onset of the monsoon, the road recarpeting work, that was going on at a slow pace, will now come to a halt. “How about we go and have breakfast at your favorite place?” he asked. “It’ll make you feel better. He smiled and wiped your tears away. “Thank you, I don’t know what I would do without you.” You buried your face in his chest again. “No I’m crying because I’m happy,” you cut him off. I love you so much and I know that everything is going to be okay.” What he said only made you cry harder. “Oh no, no I’m sorry (Y/N) did I say something wrong? I’m sor-” You’ve been my rock for years and now I get to be yours. You were here with me through Uncle Ben’s passing, through everything that happened with Mr. And I’m going to be right here through all of it, just ilke you’ve been for me. You’re going to get through this and you’re going to make the best of it, just like you always do. “(Y/N), you have nothing to be sorry for,” he said. “You are the strongest person I know. You cried silently, not violently as you had last night. “I’m sorry,” you cried. You were suddenly wrapped up again, flush against his chest. You wished it was.Įven though you had tried to remain as still and silent as possible, Peter woke up. You were angry, sad, upset, and fearful for your future. Suddenly, the tears came and you were thrown into a pit of despair. You almost smiled, until you remembered what had happened yesterday. Peter was snoring into your ear, his arm wrapped around your middle while he lay on his stomach. You woke up the next morning to the sunlight filtering in through your curtains. Once the sobs had finally subsided, you whispered a thank you before your exhausted body gave out and you fell into a deep sleep. Peter just held you, whispering things into your ear like ‘everything is going to be okay’, ‘I’m here’, ‘I’ve got you”. You cried harder than you’ve ever cried in your entire life. ![]() ![]() You sobbed until you had no air left in your lungs. You sobbed so hard you thought your back was going to break and your lungs were going to give out. He wrapped you in his arms, pushing your face into his chest as he rubbed circles on your back. He sat down next to you on the bed, his brow furrowed. “(Y/N), what happened?” he asked, concerned. Minutes later, Peter opened your window and came in. You went back to your bed and lied down flat on your back. No matter what you were both doing, if one of you got a text, the other had to come. That was your guy’s little code for ‘come over ASAP’. He was your best friend, your everything. But sometimes she just couldn’t understand like Peter could. You told each other everything, helped each other through everything. You’d been best friends since before you could remember. You looked deathly pale, making your red eyes stand out even more. Your eyes were completely red and bloodshot. You walked over to your mirror and gave yourself a look. It felt as if your entire life had just changed with one sentence. Sure, you were crying, but the tears just leaked out on their own. You should have been screaming and crying and making a mess. You knew that they loved you, you knew that it wasn’t your fault, but you were just so devastated. They were so obviously heartbroken that it broke your heart, too. They tried to make it easy for you, they really did. Your parents explained that things “just weren’t working between them”. “Honey, we’re getting a divorce,” your mom’s tearful eyes and broken voice were stuck in your head and you laid in fetal position on your bed. Divorce sucks but at least we have people like Peter around :) enjoy! Summary: Your parents are getting a divorce and Peter helps you through the first days.Ī/N: This could also be a platonic imagine, I just wanted to do a sweet little Peter imagine.
